2012
Operations starts Grundartangi industrial area, a 1000 square meter
factory is built and preparations for the processing of aluminum
dross begin.
2014
2000 tons of aluminium produced.
2016
2900 tons of aluminium produced.
Preparations for plant expansion begin.
2018
2900 tons of aluminium produced. The factory is now over 2000 square
meters.
Dry process equipment put into use, which means that we prevent
aluminium losses in fine material as well as the slag. A new control
room is put into use for workers and control devices.
2020
2200 tons of aluminium produced. The site is fenced off and
finishing work in front of the factory is complete.
Updates made to equipment and processing methods, with the aim of
maximizing recovery and reducing the slag generated.
